We left Dubrovnik a few days ago and headed to Kotor in Montenegro, this is a 15th century walled city in a massive bay (bay of Kotor) on the Adriatic coast. Kids are sort of enjoying the travel but always hankering after a swim experience, perferably a pool! Left Kotor and bused it to Ulcinj at the southern tip of Montenegro, guide book said it would give us a taste of Albania without actually going there well it was more like Skegness but warmer, cheesey shops selling rip of branded stuff, everyone smoked like troopers and the beach although not too bad was covered on fag butts. Children loved it though! It was also full of old people which wasnt very pleasant on the beach.
We got out of there asap and here we are in the real Albania and just been out in the center of Tirana for an evening meal for all of us for 15 quid and was fab.
