Since last blog we caught the train to Naples, which was surprisingly lovely, much nicer that Roma, sorry Rome. Less touristy and much more character. Pompei was great.
We then hired a car to the eastern coastal town of Pescara and a quiet mountain hotel with pool for a few days before catching the fast jet ferry to Hvar.
Stayed in Hvar town for 4 days which was absolutely beautiful and a a real party town as well. Unfortunately we didn't stay up very late!. Have been in Dubrovnik for three days, very nice but a bit too touristy for us.
